The Sikuli chair is inspired by the “eye of God” of the Mexican culture called Huichol, which means the same in this language, it is an ethnic group of Mexico in the region of Jalisco and Nayarit.
The eyes of God are symbols of power and protection they serve to see and understand the unknown.
It is made of stainless steel, which makes it resistant to corrosion, also looks as an industrial and handmade product. Because of it was knitted the user have the freedom of choosing colors.
The product development was conducted within the subject Models and Prototypes, ITESM (Sep 2014).
